Direct Advanced Operations, Inc. was founded in 1999 by Anthony Dao. The company began by providing services, upgrades, and custom integrations for all types of metrology systems to many major semiconductor and data storage companies across the globe.
Today the team focuses on extending the life of optical and stylus profilers, interferometers, AFM systems and surface inspection instruments. Work ranges from board, camera and stylus-head repair to complete refurbishment and on-site service.
DAO supports older DOS-based systems as well as Windows-based instruments. Customers can ship a system for refurbishment or request service at their facility.
