Full Metrology System Refurbishment

Restore an older profiler or inspection instrument for continued use rather than treating every fault as a full-system replacement.

Ship the system in for service

For suitable systems, customers arrange shipment to DAO, where the technician evaluates the instrument, repairs or rebuilds the required assemblies, tests the system and arranges return shipment. Contact us before shipping so we can confirm the model, scope and current delivery instructions.

Supported equipment includes older optical and stylus profilers, KLA-Tencor P-series systems, Veeco and Wyko profilers, Dektak systems, Candela surface inspection instruments, interferometers and AFM platforms. Feasibility depends on the exact configuration and available components.

Legacy computers and software

Some older systems rely on legacy computers and software. DAO works with DOS-based and Windows-based configurations. When a control computer must be rebuilt, the technician uses Dell systems based on his experience with BIOS compatibility for metrology equipment.

On-site service when shipping is impractical

The technician can travel to the customer's facility for on-site work. Send the location, instrument model and symptoms so we can discuss access, travel and the service plan.
