Board, Camera & Stylus Head Repair

Component-level work can keep an older metrology system running when an assembly or subsystem fails.

What we repair

Direct Advanced Operations evaluates system controllers, acquisition and scanning boards, stage controller boards, CCD and video systems, stylus sensors and micro heads. We work on KLA-Tencor, Veeco, Wyko, Dektak, Candela and other supported metrology platforms.

For KLA-Tencor P-series profilers, the technician has worked on P11, P20 and related stylus head assemblies. The exact repair approach depends on the instrument model, fault and condition of the component.

Older control systems

Support extends from DOS-based instruments introduced in the late 1990s to Windows-based systems. If an older control computer is part of the problem, include the computer model and operating system when you contact us.

Start with the model and symptom

Send the manufacturer, exact model, error messages and photos of the affected assembly. We will discuss whether the component can be shipped for evaluation or whether the complete instrument needs service.
